Glasgow Furniture Initiative is a company Limited by Guarantee (Company No SC326191) and a Scottish Charity (Charity No SC040503). GFI provide a complete home furnishing service for people who require quality, low cost furniture.

We rely on donated furniture; if you have any unwanted furniture, white goods or electrical items still in working condition then we will be happy to arrange a collection.

Please call the furniture donation line on 0141 314 1450 to organise a free up lift, which will usually be within 48 hours. 

GFI have two shops in Maryhill and Easterhouse which are open to the public. We stock a wide selection of household furniture, from suites and beds to fridge freezers, all available at low costs. Please see our shops section for more details and directions.

We work in partnership with organisations such as welfare, support and housing agencies, local authorities and Waste Aware Scotland to deliver a quality, efficient service that promotes social inclusion and environmental benefits.

NEW FURNITURE MEGA STORE OPENS IN QUEENSLIE

That's it, after months of hard work Glasgow Furniture Initiative's massive new furniture store is open at 255 Blairtummock Road, Queenslie, just off the number 43 Bartiebeith Road bus route. The opening of the centre gives local people the opportunity to buy essential household furniture at bargain prices on a grand scale... and have it delivered to their door for only a nominal charge! The new Blairtummock Road centre complements the successful large GFI outlet at Ruchill and the outlet shop at Newhills Road, Wellhouse.
